"Is He Ordering God
to Revive Him?" (Part 7)
Teach me, O Lord, the way of Thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. [34] Give me understanding, and I shall keep Thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. [35] Make me to go in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight. [36] Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. [37] Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken (revive) Thou me in thy way. [38] Stablish Thy word unto Thy servant, who is devoted to Thy fear. [39] Turn away my reproach which I fear: for Thy judgments are good. [40] Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts: quicken (revive) me in Thy righteousness.
Psalm 119:33-40
----------------------------
Behold, I have longed after Thy precepts: quicken me in Thy righteousness.
Psalm 119:40
----------------------------
Pray with me:

Father, LOOK AT ME, I’m at Your feet looking to You and longing for Your pleasant instructions. Revive me Lord!!! It was You who said, "Ask, and it shall be given, seek, and it shall be found, and knock, and it shall be open to me." I'm asking, seeking and knocking on the door of Your heart. Please LOOK AT ME!!! POINT and SHOW me the way; SPELL IT OUT and EXPLAIN it to me and I promise I'll keep it; STEP OUT and LEAD me down Your path; SHAPE and BEND my heart toward Your handiwork; SATISFY my eyes with your majesty; SUPPORT me with Your presence; SET UP Your word like a banner before me so I can follow You; SUBDUE my mind's eye with the beauty of Your faithfulness; SET my heart on fire with the life of Your Son and my Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. Give me life through Your life giving word. Quicken me with Your undeniable righteousness. You are my tree of life!!! I long for the fruit of Your lips!!! You’re my only hope!!! Revive me for Your glory sake, I have no other person or place to turn --- Father, I love and adore You, continue to teach me how to pray for revival, for I'm at Your mercy.

"Is He Ordering God to
Revive Him?" (Part 6)
--------------------------------------------------------

Turn away my reproach which I fear: for Thy judgments are good. Psalm 119:39
--------------------------------------------------------
Pray with me:
Father, TURN my ATTENTION away from the consequences of my sin. I’m fully aware that they are sure to come, for it was You who rightly said, “A man shall reap what he sows.” My sin has given room for Your enemies to vilify and darken Your great and mighty name. My iniquity has caused me great shame and disgrace. But You have dealt with me in regards to this sin, and Your judgments toward me are right and good, and I praise You for Your love and chastening favor. I know You have forgiven me. You have also freed me of the guilt of my crime. Lord, help me with my past and the constant pressure that it brings to my mind. Your righteous judgments are precious and Your forgiveness is forever. The hounds of hell are taking advantage of my sin, the problems within my family are a daily reminder of my rebellion, and the life I lived is only a product of my transgressions, but now I see that I'm free to love and live for You. I only ask, my Father, grant unto me Your fear and cause this sure reproach to pass under my minds eye that I will not pity myself nor make any more provision for my flesh during this dreadful harvest of my own corruption. Please let me hear Your voice. Break up the fallow ground of my heart and consume my mind with sowing seeds of righteousness that I can reap your mercy while I reap the consequences of my sin. Cause Your loving-kindness and forgiveness to be what I FOCUS on --- Father, ENRAPTURE my mind, my heart, and my eyes with You and Your matchless gift of grace through Jesus Christ, I’m at your mercy.

--------------------------------------------------------
____________
Pray with me:
Father, SET UP Your word that I may clearly see it and fear You. RAISE Your word to me and SETTLE the course I’m to run, the standards I’m to live by, the message I’m to preach, the truth I’m to teach, the promises I’m to trust, the kingdom I’m to enjoy, the people I’m to love, the comfort I’m to experience, the hope I’m to expect, the authority I’m to walk in, and the joy I’m to embrace, You are my Father and my Fear. Lord, let me rest, both now and forever, in You and the trustworthiness Your promise. I’m devoted to give priority and place to You and whatever you command of me. My life rest in Your unfailing and steadfast love --- Father, ESTABLISH Your word to Your servant, I’m at Your mercy!

___________
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken Thou me in Thy way. Psalm 119:37

Pray with me:
Father, TURN my FOCUS to be set on Your beauty and splendor, and CAUSE all the lies that usually summons my attention, and the emptiness of this world, to pass under the radar of my eyes. Lord, I know me, for I can get caught up in vain thoughts, empty entertainment, and foolish activities that often consume all of my focus, and I fail to see Your glory and grace. You are my only hope. I desperately need You to CAUSE my eyes to pass over the futility that so easily ensnares me. My only answer to this problem is You and the releasing of the LIFE of JESUS CHRIST in me. Consume my spirit, my heart, my eyes, yes, my LIFE with Your SPIRIT that I can live in YOUR REVIVAL --- Father, I humble myself before You, You must supply me with Your GRACE, I’m at Your mercy.

If this man, as passionate as he is for the Lord, can still ask for revival, because he knows he's not in revival, why are we not asking with such desperation?
------------------------
Pray with me as I ask the Lord to do what this man commanded the Lord to do.(Yes! He commanded the Lord with nine imperatives to act. Why did he command Him? He's a desperate man at the mercy of the Lord!)
-----------
Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Psalm 119:36
Pray with me:
Father, INCLINE my heart toward the undeniable evidence of Your handiwork. My heart must be bent like a bow when it is masterly strung. Lord, I'm prone to wonder after the emptiness of silver and everything that glitters. Bend my heart for Your pleasure and purpose. Shape my life to shoot straight and be in agreement with You. I want to be a man in step with You, so I can do all Your will and serve my generation well. Mold my mind in such a way that I can live in this world without being influenced by it, and be Your man to bear witness to the overwhelming evidence of Your faithfulness to supply our every need in Christ Jesus. Lord, I do not want to be caught up with things or the dangerous flow of this society --- Father, work on me, INCLINE my heart, I'm at Your mercy!

Pray with me as I ask the Lord to do what this man commanded the Lord to do.
(Yes! He commanded the Lord with nine imperatives to act. Why did he command Him? He's a desperate man at the mercy of the Lord!)
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. Psalm 119:35

Pray with me:
Father, MAKE me the object of Your divine prerogative. Do with me as You please but forever lead me, as my Lord and Master, into Your path which is the delight of both of our hearts. This, my Father, is where Your love and blessings are centered and clearly manifested. Do whatever it takes to MAKE me, most wonderful Master, long for the beauty and bounty of the course Your commandments will take me on. Do not, my God, loosen my restraints or relinquish me to exit Your path, but I order You today to hedge me in on every side and ensure I walk with You --- Father, MAKE it happen, I’m at Your mercy!

"Is He Ordering God to
Revive Him?"
(Part 1)
If this man, as passionate as he is for the Lord, can still ask for revival, because he knows he's not in revival, why are we not asking with such desperation?

Pray with me as I ask the Lord to do what this man commanded the Lord to do.
(Yes! He commanded the Lord with nine imperatives to act. Why did he command Him? He's a desperate man at the mercy of the Lord!)

Teach me, O Lord, the way of Thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Psalm 119:33
Pray with me:
Father, TEACH me the way I’m to walk. I want my life to bless Your holy name. If You do not SHOW me Your ways I’m no good to You or Your people. Your statutes are right because You are always right. They’re rooted in Your perfection, and the direct result of Your most excellent will; therefore TEACH me what is right and just, You are my Judge. Father, reveal to me how these statutes point to You and describe Your unchanging character, and I will protect and preserve them in honor of You --- Teach Father, I’m Yours and Your mine, I’m at Your mercy!

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Psalm 119:34
Pray with me:
Father, unless you bless by GIVING me the supernatural ability to understand Your law I will fail to love You and Your people properly. GIVE me what I need to love people like You. Help me know and recognize the authority and accuracy of Your law, so when I miss Your mark of perfection I will understand my sin and turn my heart to You. GIVE me Your law of love and in love I will set my whole heart and my mind on seeing Your law exalted and exercised in our land --- Give Father, I’m on my knees, I’m at Your mercy!
Join me tomorrow as we continue to pray for revival.
"Don't be a Simple Person:
KNOW, EXAMINE, & MEASURE the MAN before YOU believe his every word"
-------------------------------------------
"God's Man SHOULD Be Personally KNOWN, MUST Be Intentionally EXAMINED, & CAN Be Precisely MEASURED by the Scriptures before he is FOLLOWED by YOU."
--------------------------------------------
Be Prudent:

The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. Proverbs 14:15
---------------------------------
Know them Personally:

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
2 Tim. 3:14
--------------------------------
Examine them Intentionally:

But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, [11] Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. [12] Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2 Tim. 3:10-13
------------------------------------
Measure them Precisely:

And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Tim. 3:15-17
