"God's Will for Christ and His Converts"
1. Set apart
2. Sent
3. Obey
4. Suffer
5. Rejected
6. Die
7. Raised
Christ SET the PATTERN!
Luke 9:21-26 And He straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing; [22] Saying, The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. [23] And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. [24] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for My sake, the same shall save it. [25] For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? [26] For whosoever shall be ashamed of Me and of My words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He shall come in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels.
God never resurrects that which hasn't first died!!
Paul helps us understood this resurrection principle.
2 Cor. 1:8-10 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: [9] But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: [10] Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us;
"What is PRIZED and a PRIORITY among the men of this world may seem noble at times, and even needful in this life to get ahead, yet it is not PRIZED or a PRIORITY of God nor His men!"
Luke 16:14-15 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous (those who are 1. fond of silver 2. lovers of that which glitters 3. prize money), heard all these things: and they derided Him. [15] And He said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Someone or Something STRANGE!
Does the world (the people that are governed by the system that does not factor God's ways into their daily lifestyles) think You're STRANGE?
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm (equip) yourselves likewise with the same mind (look unto Jesus; Heb. 12:1-5): for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; [2] That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God(live counter cultrual). [3] For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: [4] Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 1 Peter 4:1-4
If they do you, REJOICE, don't think something STRANGE is happening!
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: [13] But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. [14] If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. 1 Peter 4:12-14
